The old Curtis Paper Mill was the subject of a Council workshop sponsored by myself back in May. The residents made it clear that they wanted the buildings taken down and the site cleaned up. The demolition of the mill is almost complete. Only sections of concrete still need to be broken up. Dirt is being collected at the site to put over the remaining concrete pads.

Ridgewood Glen, Creek Bend, Old Paper Mill Farms, Paper Mill Falls:
State Senator Liane Sorenson and State Representative Terry Schooley have committed funds to complete the County portion of the sidewalks along Old Paper Mill Road.  The new sidewalk along the reservoir property has been completed. Lighting has been added along that section as well.  Portions of Ridgewood Glen should have seen an increase in water pressure.

The Woods at Louviers:
Black Stones is now open. The food is very good. The Deerfield Wine ONLY store has opened in the Shoppes of Louviers. The Cesar Rodney signs have been replaced. These are courtesy of State Representative Joe Miro. The sensor locations for the traffic light were checked and adjusted in May 2006. DELDOT replaced the confusing "No Turn on Red ->" with a "No Turn on Red Arrow" sign. The Shoppes at Louviers has added more plants to separate the Shoppes from the Woods.

The Hunt at Louviers:
The dirt is being moved but no building permits have been applied for Stonevale. The Cesar Rodney signs have been replaced. These are courtesy of State Representative Joe Miro. Joe Miro has been asked about finishing the portion of sidewalk along Possum Park to Middle Run Meadow. Your entrance street lights have been fixed. Possum Park Road has been repaved.

Laura's Glen:
The first house has been completed and a second is under construction.

Kirkwood Highway:
Additional Speed Enforcement was requested.

Paper Mill Road:

Prospect Avenue, North St, N. College, Wilbur St:
A Stop sign has been added at the top of North College. At the workshop held in December, the secretary of transportation, Carolann Wicks, was asked to add a left turn light for those heading south on N. College at Cleveland Avenue. Unfortunately, the left turn light has been stalled.

Eleanor's Way:
Your street has been added to the snow removal plan.
A street light has been added at Eleanor's Way and Possum Park Road.

Middle Run Meadow:
Your entrance street lights have been fixed. The Cesar Rodney signs are courtesy of State Representative Joe Miro.
